This high gloss glazed pottery dish is shaped as a leaf and decorated with a green grapes and leaf design in the center area near it's stem. There is a 1/8" factory crease on the lower rim of this dish, but no chips, cracks or other damages to note. It is marked with the "HULL USA 19" mark on the bottom. We have seen a few of these around lately, but they always seem to have a chip or crack- this one does not! The Hull USA mark found on this piece was used in the late 1950's exclusively. In the 2003 updated "HULL Pottery - Decades of Design" reference book, on page 77, this dish is listed with a value of $90.00 - $100.00. It also explains that these pieces were produced from 1958-1960 only, along with various other bowls, vases, etc in the same pattern. Figuring that this magnificent HULL Pottery Leaf Dish is already approximately 48+ years old and valued @ $100.00 in a 3+ year old book, what will it's value be in 10 - 20 more years?
