This crock measures 5 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" in diameter at the base and 5 1/4" diameter at the rim. Both the crock and the lid are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, repairs or other damages to note. The 1 quart casserole is marked on the bottom - "7014 McCoy USA". The lid is numbered "342". It's opening flares out approximately 1/2" starting 1" from the top. On the inside of the casserole this creates a 1/2" ridge, which the 4 7/8" in diameter cover rests upon. There are 2 1/4" long molded handles on opposite sides of the casserole crock just below the flared opening. The cover is designed with a 1" in diameter, 1/2" tall knob. The entire piece, including the cover, is dark brown in color, except at the extended rim. Here the drip glaze design starts, flowing completely over the rim and in some areas up to 1 1/2" down the crock's side. It also drips slightly on the inside edge of the rim. This Brown Drip design was used by McCoy in the late 1960's and throughout the 1970's. Take advantage of this magnificent opportunity to add a less common McCoy 1 Qt.
