The young boy is kneeling by his bed in prayer - "NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP" ishighlighted in raised lettering on the side of his bed. The red & gold "ENESCO - JAPAN" label is affixed to the bottom of the planter right along side "E-0332" stamped in green ink. Other than a stress line on one end of the planter and a flea bite to the finish on one of the bed post, about the only other issue noted is a bit of water staining on the inside edge of the planter. Measuring about 5" long, 4 1/2" wide and 4" tall, this PRECIOUS Praying Boy Planter was designed with a 3" by 2" opening in the bed. The boy is dressed in his pajamas and saying his night time prayer ~ just look at the back end of his pajamas! This VINTAGE planter is the perfect addition for ANY collection and would be IDEAL for a young boy's nursery!
