There are no chips, cracks, crazing or other damages to note, although there are a few manufacturer's glaze flaws found. Measuring about 8 1/2" long by 2 3/4" wide and 5" tall, there are no makers marks found on this planter - it does have two parallel mold or "ridge" bars on the bottom, quite often found on pieces from the 1930's-1950's era, especially prevelent in Royal Copely pieces, which is what we believe this planter may be. (Shawnee also used the ridges, as did Hull) Sitting on the upper toe area of the green Elf's boot or shoe planter is a happy go lucky Burgundy colored Elf ~ he appears to be laughing with his arms wide open! He is just waiting for you to add your favorite houseplant! This VINTAGE Elf planter would be a nice addition to any home or office decor - be sure to add it to your collection before it dissapears!
