Other than a small scuff to the glazing on the toothpick holder, there are no chips, cracks, crazing or other damages noted on these Owls. They are all stamped on the bottom - "JAPAN". The Salt & Pepper Shakers are probably a bit newer (1970's) than the Toothpick Holder (1960's) - they are very similar but not exact as you can see from the photos. Both Salt & Pepper Shakers measure about 3" tall and 2 3/4" in diameter. The Toothpick Holder measures 2 1/4" tall and about 2 1/4" in diameter, with a 1" diameter opening for toothpicks . These nicely detailed and perfectly finished Owls will make a great addition to your S & P Collection and would definitely add a "wise" air of distinction to any table setting ~ just look at those piercing orange eyes!
